2010 NEPA Annual Meeting Online Conference Proposal Submission Site

General Submission Information

The 2010 Annual Meeting of the New England Psychological Association (NEPA) will be held on October 8-9, 2010 at Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont, opening with a poster session, reception, dinner and speaker in the evening of Friday, October 8th and continuing throughout the day on Saturday October 9th. Proposals for NEPA may be submitted for symposia, paper sessions, poster sessions, workshops, and working lunch discussions. Submissions MUST be sponsored by or submitted by members of NEPA. Students must have undergraduate or graduate student status. For all types of submissions, the deadline is June 2, 2010.

Notification of acceptance or rejection of program proposals will be made to the corresponding author, who has the responsibility to inform other authors of all communications. The first author on all accepted submissions is expected to be present at the meeting to present the work. All attendees are required to register for the meeting.

Empirical, theoretical and applied submissions are welcome (theoretical submissions must go beyond a literature review to present a new idea, model or framework). If you are submitting research results, please submit only completed studies and include - in the long abstract - a description of your analyzed data (means, ANOVA's, etc). Data based studies and presentations that build upon the current literature are preferred. All proposals will be accepted or rejected on the basis of blind review by NEPA program committee members.

Submissions should not have been published prior to the Annual Meeting. American Psychological Association (APA) publication format is required. All submissions must comply with APA publication guidelines for language and IRB requirements.

Submission of a proposal implies a commitment to attend the meeting and deliver the paper, poster, symposium, workshop, or working lunch discussion if accepted.
